HCMC – The Ministry of Finance has removed Tran Van Dung from his position of chairman of the State Securities Commission (SSC) for his serious violations and shortcomings.
The Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission earlier stripped him of all his Party posts for his responsibility for stock market manipulation by some individuals and organizations.
The Ministry of Finance issued a warning against Vu Bang, former Party secretary and chairman of the SSC, for the same responsibility as Dung.
Similar warnings were also given to Nguyen Thanh Long, chairman of the Vietnam Stock Exchange (VNX) and Nguyen Son, chairman of the Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD).
