HCMC – A fire erupted at an FPT store in Go Vap District, HCMC last night, April 28. Although there were no casualties, the fire caused damage to valuable assets inside the store.
Police reported that around 7 p.m. on April 28, employees working at the store discovered thick smoke inside the premises.
Upon receiving the alert, the district firefighting and rescue police dispatched multiple fire trucks and dozens of firefighters to the scene.
By 7:45 p.m., they managed to bring the blaze under control.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the damage.
The FPT store branch on Le Van Tho Street specializes in retailing electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.
