HCMC – A fire erupted at a three-storey house on Pham Ngoc Thach Street in Hanoi City’s Dong Da District at dawn today, April 21, leaving five people dead and two others injured.
The fire broke out on the first floor of the house owned by Doan Thi Manh, 74, and the blaze spread quickly to the other floors, the local media reported.
Local residents were alerted about the fire after they heard a blast in the vicinity. Residents tried to find ways to access the house to rescue people inside but their efforts were in vain due to the raging flames.
