HCMC – Local fuel retail prices were revised up today, April 21 after three consecutive downward adjustments, according to an announcement jointly issued by the Ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.

Bio-fuel E5 RON92 is up by VND660 per liter to VND27,130, while the higher-grade RON95 petrol is now priced at VND27,990 per liter, up VND680, the local media reported.

Kerosene and diesel oil now sell for VND23,820 and VND25,350 per liter, respectively, up by VND800 and VND970. The heavy fuel oil is up by VND800 per kg at VND21,800.

The ministries decided not to impose a surcharge on all the fuels but heavy fuel oil to replenish the national fuel price stabilization fund. The surcharge on heavy fuel oil is VND250 for each kg sold.

Meanwhile, fuel traders can now tap the fund at VND500 for each liter of RON95 gasoline sold, VND400 for each liter of the bio-fuel and VND100 for each liter of diesel oil.
