Vietnam-based Fusion Hotel Group is entering a new phase of regional expansion following its acquisition by Suchad Chiaranussati, founder and chairman of SC Capital Partners, in a move to build a pan-Asian hospitality platform.
Founded in 2008, Fusion currently operates 18 properties with around 3,000 rooms and has more than 2,000 additional keys in the pipeline.
The brand is known for its wellness-focused concepts and integrated services, including hotel management, brand development and branded residences.
The acquisition integrates Fusion into a broader network alongside Hotel Management Japan and Indonesia’s Topotels Hotels & Resorts.
The combined platform will manage approximately 16,000 rooms across key Asian markets, spanning Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia.
Chiaranussati said the investment reflects confidence in Vietnam’s growing tourism sector and rising investor interest, adding that scalable operating platforms are increasingly important for maximizing real estate value.
The transaction comes as regional travel demand continues to recover, highlighting a wider trend of consolidation and cross-border partnerships in Asia’s hospitality industry, with Fusion positioned to play a larger role in the sector’s next growth phase.
