HCMC – Global Sources launched its Global Sourcing Outlook Conference 2024 in Hanoi yesterday, June 18, focusing on supporting Vietnamese enterprises to navigate international trade and secure a stronger foothold in the global supply chain.
The conference, themed “B2B Sourcing: Now and Future,” centered on international sourcing trends and opportunities within Vietnam’s burgeoning electronics industry.
“Understanding international sourcing trends is paramount for businesses looking to expand their global footprint,” said Sam Hui, vice president of Global Sources.
Do Thi Thuy Huong, a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association (VEIA), stressed the importance of leveraging these opportunities. “By capitalizing on these opportunities and leveraging our strengths, Vietnamese enterprises can enhance their competitiveness in the global market.”
The Global Electronic Intelligent Manufacturing Show (GEIMS) Vietnam, aimed at showcasing Vietnam’s manufacturing capabilities and connecting local suppliers with international buyers, is scheduled for November 28-30 in Hanoi.
Global Sources signed a memorandum of understanding with VEIA to support GEIMS Vietnam. Additionally, strategic cooperation agreements were inked with BW Industrial Development JSC and Sunrise Big Data (Vietnam) as partners for the exhibition.
