HCMC – The Government Office has issued a dispatch asking the relevant ministries to create favorable conditions for the entry and exit of Vietnamese nationals and foreigners.
Under the dispatch signed by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, the Ministry of Health is responsible for promptly reviewing regulations on Covid-19 testing, quarantine and medical monitoring to amend them or issue new guidelines.
The move is aimed at facilitating the entry of overseas Vietnamese and foreign entrepreneurs, experts and highly-skilled workers, the Government’s news site reported.
The deputy prime minister also asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to collaborate with the ministries of Information-Communications and Health to make life easy for and facilitate the overseas travel of Vietnamese people and foreigners who have been fully vaccinated against Covid.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was told to work with the ministries of Public Security, Health, Culture, Sports & Tourism and Labor, Invalids & Social Affairs and other relevant agencies to issue regulations on visa procedures and medical monitoring for foreigners who enter Vietnam.
