HCMC – The Government has decided to add over VND900 billion to the Cat Linh-Ha Dong metro line project in Hanoi.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai signed a decision amending the medium-term public investment plan using the central budget in the 2021-2025 period.
According to the decision, an additional VND911 billion will be added to the Cat Linh-Ha Dong metro line project of the Transport Ministry.
Of the amount, over VND223 billion will be funded domestically and VND687.9 billion by foreign loans.
As for the implementation of the medium-term public investment plan from 2021 to 2025, the deputy prime minister told the Transport Ministry to task agencies and units using public investment to carry it out in accordance with regulations, and report the allocation of funds to the Planning and Investment Ministry and the Finance Ministry by January 15, 2023.
At the same time, the Transport Ministry will report to the Prime Minister, inspection and auditing agencies, and other relevant agencies for the accurate content and figures in the investment allocation and number of projects as per law.
