Hands-on crafts at Nguyen Hue Flower Street

HCMC – Visitors to Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2026 can take part in traditional activities, including to he figurine making, palm-leaf weaving, and calligraphy writing.
The Lunar New Year flower street in Ho Chi Minh City was opened on the evening of February 15, the 28th day of the final lunar month, under the theme “Spring Convergence – Stepping Forward with Confidence.” – PHOTOS: LE VU
The event spans Nguyen Hue Boulevard from Le Loi Boulevard to Ton Duc Thang Street. This is the 23rd edition of the annual cultural attraction, which serves residents and tourists during the Lunar New Year holiday

Organizers present separate daytime and nighttime experience designs this year, allowing visitors to view the displays under different lighting and visual settings

The street features large decorative installations alongside traditional cultural elements. A large revolving lantern display recreates scenes associated with the traditional Lunar New Year
Additional activities include food areas, a book street, artistic performances, lion and dragon dances, and music programs
The event runs from February 15 to 22, covering the period from the 28th day of the final lunar month through the sixth day of the Lunar New Year of the Horse
