HCMC – The 10th Vietnam-Japan Supporting Industry Exhibition (SIE) and the 14th Vietnam Manufacturing Expo (VME) are scheduled to be held in Hanoi from August 9 to 11.

These events aim to enhance collaboration between local and international businesses, particularly Japanese manufacturers, and provide an impetus for the growth of Vietnam’s supporting industries.

The expos will be organized by RX Tradex Vietnam in partnership with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The events are expected to attract over 200 leading manufacturers and distributors from 20 countries and territories.

Vietnam currently has 2,000 manufacturers engaged in producing industrial spare parts and components, with some 300 companies participating in global supply chains.

This sector represents 4.5% of the total businesses in the processing and manufacturing industries, generating employment opportunities for 600,000 workers nationwide.
