HCMC – To mark Reunification Day (April 30, 1975-2024) and International Labor Day (May 1), HCMC will display fireworks at 16 locations, with one at high altitude and 15 at low altitude.
Fireworks displays will be launched on 10 roads along the Saigon River, with one at high altitude in Saigon River Tunnel area in Thu Duc City.
Nine low-altitude fireworks display locations are Van Phuc residential area in Thu Duc City, Thanh Da Park in Binh Thanh District, Rach Chiec Bridge in Thu Duc City, Thao Dien area in Thu Duc City, Landmark 81 Park in Binh Thanh District, Ba Son Shipyard in District 1, Bach Dang Wharf in Ben Nghe Ward, District 1 (fireworks displayed on barge), the area adjacent to Tan Thuan 1 Bridge in District 4, and the river banks in Thanh My Loi Ward, Thu Duc City.
Fireworks will be displayed at low altitude at six other locations: Lot N4-D6 Tay Bac Industrial Park in Cu Chi District, the Nga Ba Giong historical site in Hoc Mon District, Lang Le Bau Co historical site in Binh Chanh District, Dam Sen Park in District 11, the District 7 Administrative Center Square, and Rung Sac Square in Can Gio District.
The fireworks displays will last 15 minutes, starting from 21:00 on April 30, 2024, with funding sourced from the private sector.
On this occasion, HCMC will host multiple cultural activities and music performances in various districts and Thu Duc City.
