HCMC – Hoan My Saigon Hospital has been enhancing its medical imaging capabilities with recent investments in cutting-edge technology.

Its acquisition of the 3.0 Tesla SIGNA Hero MRI system and the Innova IGS 630 Autoright DSA system from GE Healthcare signifies a leap forward in diagnosing and treating complex conditions like stroke and cancer in Vietnam, the group said in a statement.

The former system, equipped with advanced AI features, empowers clinicians to detect cancer and cerebral vascular abnormalities at an early stage. Meanwhile, the latter facilitates minimally invasive procedures for cardiovascular and neurovascular conditions.

Dr. Ta Anh Tuan, director of Hoan My Saigon Hospital, said the systems will enable healthcare professionals to diagnose cardiovascular diseases, stroke, and liver cancer earlier, thus enabling more timely and effective interventions.

Moreover, the strategic partnership with GE Healthcare designates Hoan My Saigon Hospital as a showcase medical center and application site for stroke solutions in southern Vietnam. This collaboration aims to improve stroke screening and treatment capabilities across the country.
