In Giong Rieng District, part of the district’s Healthcare Center and Children’s House was converted into a 400-bed Covid treatment facility.

Besides, the province converted part of the Healthcare Center in Vinh Thuan District and the old headquarters of the district into the third treatment facility with 350 beds.

The provincial government assigned the Kien Giang Department of Health to mobilize and assign medical workers to these facilities, the local media reported.
