HCMC – Domestic fuel retail prices dropped by over VND1,000 per liter today, October 11, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
RON 95-III gasoline now sells for VND23,040 per liter, down by VND1,800, while E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline costs VND21,900 per liter, falling by VND1,600.
Diesel oil and kerosene are down by VND1,180 and VND1,350 to VND22,410 and VND22,460 per liter, respectively.
Heavy fuel oil is now capped at VND16,230 per kilogram, dropping by VND1,220.
During this fuel price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to impose a surcharge on all fuels to replenish the fuel price stabilization fund. Local fuel traders are not allowed to tap the fund.
