HCMC – The price of RON95 gasoline was revised up by VND1,550 a liter today, May 11, to hit an all-time high, while bio-fuel E5 RON92 and other fuels rose by VND1,210-1,490 per liter or kilogram.
According to an announcement jointly issued by the Ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance, the high-grade RON95 is now priced at VND29,983 per liter.
Meanwhile, the bio-fuel E5 RON92 rose by VND1,490 to VND28,959 per liter.
Diesel oil and kerosene saw their prices up by VND1,210 and VND1,340 per liter to reach VND26,740 and VND25,165 per liter, respectively. The price of heavy fuel oil remains unchanged at VND21,560 per kilogram.
During this fuel price adjustment, the ministries continued to impose a surcharge on most products to replenish the fuel price stabilization fund. The surcharges on RON95, bio-fuel and diesel oil are VND100 for each liter sold.
