Luxury cruise ship brings 3,500 int’l tourists to Vietnam

HCMC – Luxury cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas, with 3,500 international passengers on board, arrived at the Phu My port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province on February 26 for passengers to start their two-day tour to tourist destinations in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, HCMC and Tien Giang.

The cruise ship is set to leave the port at 7:00 p.m. today, February 27.

Saigontourist Travel will receive multiple international cruise ships of cruise lines such as TUI Cruises, Silversea Cruises, Azamara Cruises, Silversea Cruises and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in the first quarter of 2023, according to a representative of the firm.

These vessels will bring foreign tourists to Halong, Hue, Danang, Nha Trang, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and HCMC.

Viet Excursions said that the firm’s cruise ship segment had bounced back after over three years of the Covid pandemic, so the firm is receiving two cruise ships each week in the first quarter of this year.
