HCMC – NAPAS, Mastercard, and Payoo have jointly launched a campaign to raise funds to provide free cancer screenings for vulnerable women in Hanoi and HCMC.
The “Tap to Share, Give Hope” program will mobilize money through contactless card payments and social media shares, facilitating early detection and treatment of breast, cervical, ovarian, and thyroid cancers.
“Cancer not only severely impacts health but also places significant mental and financial burdens, especially on underprivileged women who lack access to regular health check-ups,” the three companies said in a joint statement.
Consumers can help fund cancer screenings by tapping their contactless NAPAS or Mastercard at Payoo merchants or sharing a campaign postcard on social media. Each contactless payment contributes VND2,010 to the program, while each social media share adds VND20,100.
Running from July 15 to October 15, the program aims to raise VND3.5 billion, equivalent to US$147,000, for the screenings.
