Throughout its long-established presence in Vietnam, NashTech has engaged in numerous corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, demonstrating its commitment to the community, particularly to disadvantaged children who are eager to learn. This mission is driven by the whole-hearted contributions from all employees at NashTech.
Nurturing young minds
In 2024, NashTech has continued its annual fundraising program “Green Market: Walk with Your Dream,” aiming to help underprivileged but hardworking students in Vietnam pursue their educational dreams. This program allows every NashTech employee to accompany, share, and encourage children to follow their dreams of knowledge.
After more than a month of fundraising, the Green Market program concluded with internal activities, including piggy bank fundraising at each regional office. Notably, on the event day of May 23, 2023, there were fundraising booths, donation calls, and special entertainment programs from employees such as music shows and iced tea shows.
The fundraising efforts garnered nearly VND200 million, which was used for various purposes. Specifically, at the Danang office, the company donated books, notebooks, and school supplies to disabled students at the Danang Support Center for Inclusive Education Development. At the Hanoi office, NashTech renovated the kitchen for a kindergarten. The Ho Chi Minh City office used the funds to upgrade restrooms, creating a safer school environment for An Hoa Tay Primary School students in Ben Tre Province, and awarded eight Maison Chance scholarships (for the sixth consecutive school year).
These CSR activities have been regularly launched by NashTech over the years.
In 2023, for example, the company awarded scholarships and provided lunches to remote schools thanks to this Green Market event. In HCMC, NashTech awarded eight scholarships worth VND40 million to the Maison Chance organization and gave gifts to the Long Buu charity class in Thu Duc City. In Hanoi, NashTech continued to support 30 children at Phin Pao School in Lao Cai Province’s Bat Xat District through the Nuoi Em project. The company also donated school supplies and essential items to the Ch’om Primary and Secondary Boarding School in Quang Nam Province. As part of this fundraising series, NashTech has built five bookshelves at highland classrooms.
NashTech also organizes other annual CSR activities, such as donating hundreds of computers to disadvantaged schools nationwide, opening opportunities for computer science access and information technology knowledge development at the elementary level; and giving gifts to children undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Hanoi and Cho Ray Hospital in HCMC.
Employees play a crucial role in CSR
With the mission to develop and improve the future for hardworking students, NashTech organizes many internal fundraising activities to encourage all employees to contribute. With the spirit of “We care, We share,” each employee is encouraged to readily accompany and share with children on their journey to knowledge.
Nguyen Thuan Thanh, HR director of NashTech Asia-Pacific, said that besides performing well at work and in their roles within the company, every individual at NashTech always wants to create positive value for themselves, their families, and society. Therefore, NashTech’s management always values building and nurturing a healthy and ideal working environment along with core values.
According to him, this significantly contributes to enhancing happiness and professional competence for each employee. Developing a career at a company with a high happiness index will help employees feel secure, and make contributions to the community, he added.
At NashTech, the leadership and employees share a spirit of care and support for each other. As a result, when CSR events are organized, all people are willing to positively respond. “In the future, NashTech will continue to organize CSR activities so that each tech talent working at the company continues to spread the ‘We care, We share’ spirit further across regions nationwide,” a NashTech representative emphasized.
