HCMC – As the newly built Dau Giay-Phan Thiet expressway is about to be opened to traffic, the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) has announced new toll fees for vehicles that enter and exit the Dau Giay Intersection on the HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway.
For the section from the Long Phuoc Intersection to Phan Thiet-Dau Giay expressway, the fee is VND78,000 for under-12-seat cars and VND295,000 for under-18-ton and 40-foot container trucks.
The toll ranges from VND47,000 to VND165,000 for vehicles from Intersection 319 to Phan Thiet-Day Giay expressway and from VND38,000 to VND135,000 for vehicles from National Highway 51 to Phan Thiet-Dau Giay expressway.
The toll on the Phan Thiet-Day Giay expressway is from VND24,000 to VND53,000, depending on the type of vehicle.
The new toll fees will apply when the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay expressway is opened to traffic or when the authority issues a decision on toll collection.
The Phan Thiet-Dau Giay expressway, part of the North-South Expressway project, is expected to be opened to traffic on April 30, according to the plan of the Ministry of Transport.
The Phan Thiet-Dau Giay expressway has a total length of 99 kilometers, starting from National Highway 1A and ending at the HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay expressway in Dong Nai Province.
