No community-transmitted Covid-19 cases reported for 10 straight days

HCMC – It has been 10 consecutive days since Vietnam reported the latest community-transmitted Covid-19 case as the Ministry of Health reported no new Covid-19 cases this morning, September 12.

Thus, Vietnam’s Covid-19 tally remained unchanged at 1,060, including 691 locally-transmitted cases.

According to the national steering committee for Covid-19 infection prevention and control, 902 patients have fully recovered. Among the active cases, 54 have tested negative for the coronavirus one to three times.

Meanwhile, four cases are in very critical conditions.

The ministry also reported that nearly 35,400 people having close contact with Covid-19 cases or returning from virus-hit areas are being put in quarantine.
