OYO offers support to pandemic-affected foreigners in Vietnam

Must read

HCMC – Hotel chain operator OYO has launched a program offering accommodations at discounted prices to foreign nationals stranded in Vietnam due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Under the program, foreign guests will enjoy large discounts of 40-50% when booking rooms at OYO properties in Hanoi, HCMC, Vung Tau, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc.

OYO’s offer comes in response to multiple requests on social media platforms and from nongovernmental organizations for rooms, apartments and homes for those affected by travel restrictions and waiting to be repatriated.

Dushyant Dwibedy, country head at OYO Vietnam, said, “We have received requests from our hotel partners in other provinces and cities to be included on the list of hotels that have extended help to guests stranded in Vietnam. The list will be updated regularly, and I urge all in need of rooms to call our OYO Careline for an updated list of hotels.”

Foreign guests can book rooms by contacting the OYO 24/7 Careline at mm.vn@oyorooms.com or by calling (+84) 924 970 366 or (+91) 9811 882 750 (Whatsapp).

OYO will also continue to accept reservations and check-ins from all guests during the social distancing period in Vietnam.

Further, OYO offers special long-stay rates to foreign guests who have been stranded following travel restrictions and need a clean and affordable living space during this period. These long-stay rates also apply to guests who need to self-quarantine at this time.
