HCMC – Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex (SEHC) aims to achieve double-digit revenue growth this year, its general director said at a meeting with the city’s leaders on May 5.

At the meeting, Nguyen Van Duoc, chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, highly appreciated SEHC’s contributions to the development of HCMC.

He said that the city is shifting decisively from a management-oriented approach to a service-oriented model, placing citizens and businesses at the center, while accelerating administrative reforms and improving the investment climate to facilitate business operations.

He called on Samsung to continue partnering with the city and maintain confidence in its reforms and the support of local authorities.

Hwang Keun Ha, general director of SEHC, said that Samsung Vietnam currently operates in four localities, namely Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, and HCMC, with six manufacturing plants and one research and development center.

In 2025, Samsung Vietnam reported revenue of about US$65 billion and export revenue of US$57.1 billion. Its cumulative investment exceeded US$24 billion, creating jobs for around 85,000 workers.

At SEHC, the factory began producing televisions in 2016 and has since expanded into a consumer electronics manufacturing complex producing televisions, monitors, refrigerators, and vacuum cleaners for global export.

In 2025, SEHC recorded revenue of about US$5.2 billion and export revenue of US$4.8 billion, with cumulative investment of around US$2.8 billion and a workforce of more than 5,400.

SEHC is striving to achieve double-digit revenue growth this year, in line with the broader economic development goals of Vietnam and HCMC, he noted.

According to the company’s leader, the guidance and support from leaders of HCMC serve as a strong source of encouragement for the company to reinforce its role as a trusted partner and contribute to the region’s prosperity.
