HCMC – All the delegates, guests and reporters at the 13th National Party Congress, which is scheduled to commence on January 25, have tested negative for Covid-19 in their first test, the Ministry of Health said today, January 20.
The ministry said that among the hospitals and healthcare centers conducting the first Covid-19 test for the participants of the congress, Hospital E in Hanoi City conducted the Covid-19 tests of 250 people.
The second test will be conducted one day before the 13th National Party Congress, Tuoi Tre Online reported.
Before attending the congress, the delegates and guests will go through a door equipped with a temperature monitoring device. If some of them shows signs of a fever, they will have their body temperature checked one more time and their samples taken for testing.
More than one week ago, to serve the congress, the ministry opened a medical training course covering many parts such as taking samples for Covid-19 testing, handling suspected Covid-19 cases and environmental hygiene as a way to prevent the potential spread of the disease.
