Saigon Times blood drive attracts over 230 donors

HCMC – More than 230 local and foreign blood donors joined a blood donation program, which was jointly held by the Saigon Times Group and the HCMC Blood Donation Center this morning, October 17, aiming at coping with the chronic blood shortage in the country especially amid the Covid-19 pandemic and save patients in need.

The 2020 Blood Donation Day marked the 29th anniversary of The Saigon Times Weekly on October 10.

This meaningful event was attended by foreign diplomats, staff of local businesses, civil servants, and Saigon Times Group staff. According to the organizer, more than 300 units of blood from 234 donors were collected at the event.

The event was successfully organized thanks to the sponsorship of BASF, Easy Credit, and Home Credit. It also received generous support from the Wink Hotels, Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam, Doi Dep, and Tan Hiep Phat Group.
