HCMC – The Saigon Times, an English online newspaper published by the Saigon Times Group, has plans to hold an ESG forum in HCMC on June 13, 2024.
Themed “From Ideas to Action,” the forum aims to translate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into tangible business strategies, assisting companies in achieving sustainable development.
Speakers at the event, including experts, business executives and business association leaders, will take queries from businesses on ESG implementation, spanning certification standards to roadmaps tailored for different business scales.
Held in collaboration with the EuroCham Green Growth Sector Committee (GGSC), the event will feature the “Green Morning Vietnam! Workshop,” which will provide insights into ESG history, global trends, and their relevance to Vietnam.
As part of the forum, ESG Series Masterclasses will delve into detailed discussions and offer practical guidance across various industries, with a focus on finance transition, ESG disclosure, and reporting frameworks.
The series is co-hosted by the ESG Transition Alliance and the ESG TaskForce within the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV).
The ESG Forum 2024 targets businesses keen on effectively implementing ESG practices. The organizers and participants will also procure carbon credits to offset emissions generated during the event, underscoring their commitment to sustainability.
