Must read

Shinhan Life Vietnam has launched the S-Career program for high school students in collaboration with the career education company SIF Career. This career orientation program aims to assist students in choosing a profession that fits their abilities, family conditions, and socio-economic circumstances.

In the first year, the program will be implemented in high schools across the Mekong Delta region.

Specifically, the S-Career program focuses on direct engagement with high school students, providing support and information to help them make informed career decisions. Additionally, S-Career equips teachers with effective tools and methods to aid students in career planning. The program framework includes theoretical overviews, practical applications, and Q&A sessions, with the goal of providing comprehensive information to enable students to make the right career decisions – “Pick the right industry – Do the right job”.

Mr. Bae Seung Jun, General Director of Shinhan Life Vietnam, said, “As a life insurance company, we are committed to providing long-term financial solutions, protecting the future of our Vietnamese customers. Beyond that, we are particularly interested in community activities that contribute to the development and education for children – the country’s future generation. The S-Career program is expected to help students choose careers that suit them, optimizing future work efficiency and contributing to overall laborproductivity and sustainable societal development.”

The first session at Nguyen Quang Dieu High School saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of students and teachers

Community activities and sharing corporate social responsibility are always one of Shinhan Life Vietnam’s top priorities. In addition to regular activities such as providing hospital fee support for children with cancer or offering gifts and sponsoring free meals for patients and their families, the company focuses on investing in education programs. This aims to provide opportunities and access to knowledge for children and teenagers, promoting sustainable development.

In its first year of implementation (2024), the S-Career program will be held in high schools across the Mekong Delta region. In the following years, with a long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market, Shinhan Life plans to expand the program’s scale and scope to other regions nationwide.
