HCMC – Sonadezi Long Thanh Shareholding Company (HOSE: SZL) has announced plans to sell its entire holding of 1.77 million treasury shares to supplement working capital for business operations.
The company expects to raise about VND84 billion from the sale, which will be conducted through both order matching and negotiated transactions on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange. The transactions are scheduled to take place in the first or second quarter of 2026, following confirmation from the State Securities Commission that all required disclosure documents have been duly received. The trading period will not exceed 30 days from the start date.
According to its fourth-quarter 2025 financial statements, Sonadezi Long Thanh reported revenue of nearly VND156 billion, up 20.78% year-on-year, driven mainly by higher income from factory leasing and financial activities. Financial income surged more than fivefold to over VND19 billion due largely to dividend income of nearly VND19 billion. As a result, after-tax profit in the quarter jumped 112% to more than VND47 billion.
Closing the trading session today, February 10, SZL shares fell 1,000 points, or 2.08%, to close at VND47,000, with 22,100 shares changing hands, valuing the company at around VND1.29 trillion.
The VN-Index edged down 0.79 point, or 0.05%, to close at 1,754.03 on February 10, with decliners outnumbering gainers by 216 to 97 on the HOSE.
Total trading volume reached nearly 920.7 million shares worth VND28.42 trillion, up 27% in volume and 42% in value from the previous session. Block deals accounted for more than 202 million shares worth VND4.84 trillion.
Gains in blue-chip stocks VHM and VIC helped cushion the market, contributing nearly 22 points to the index.
On the downside, GVR, BID, and GAS closed at floor prices, with trading volumes ranging from over six million to nearly 23 million shares.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index fell 2.24 points, or 0.87%, to 253.77. The market saw 55 gainers and 74 decliners, with matched trading volume of over 65.4 million shares valued at VND1.64 trillion.
