HCMC – Tay Ninh Province is rolling out four major initiatives to build an industrial, urban, and services corridor that connects directly with HCMC, according to a newly released provincial development plan.

The corridor forms part of a broader strategy to develop the Moc Bai–Trans-Asia economic axis along the Tay Ninh–HCMC route. The plan outlines four key tasks.

First, the province will establish two new industrial parks: the over-2,700-hectare Thanh Duc Industrial Park in Thanh Duc Commune and the 500-hectare Ben Cui Industrial Park in Loc Ninh Commune.

Second, Tay Ninh will develop mixed-use service and logistics urban zones, including a 2,734-hectare complex in Thanh Duc and a 567-hectare service urban area in Loc Ninh.

Third, the province will designate a corridor running from Tan Ninh Ward to Long An Ward as a new economic spine and attract investment to build infrastructure that further strengthens connectivity with HCMC.

Fourth, Tay Ninh will propose that the central government include the Bau Bang–Moc Bai railway line in the national railway development plan for 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050. Additional railway routes and stations will also be planned to enhance links between Tay Ninh and HCMC.

The corridor is expected to position Tay Ninh as a regional industrial and logistics hub connecting the southeastern region, the Mekong Delta, and HCMC, supporting the province’s long-term economic growth.
