Three more patients recover from Covid-19

HCMC – Vietnam reported no new Covid-19 cases this morning, July 8, while three more patients have fully recovered from the virus, according to the national steering committee for Covid-19 infection prevention and control.

The 340th, 341st and 350th patient, aged from 33 to 36, were declared free of Covid-19 by Ba Ria-Vung Tau General Hospital on July 7.

Among remaining active cases in the country, nine patients have tested negative for the virus once or twice, VietnamPlus news site reported.

Since April 16, Vietnam has gone 83 consecutive days without community transmission of the virus. Some 11,370 people are now under quarantine in Vietnam, with 109 individuals quarantined at hospitals.
