HCMC – Two more Covid-19 test kits made in Vietnam, One-step RT-PCR Covid-19 Kit Thai Duong and RT-LAMP Covid-19 Kit Thai Duong, have been certified as meeting European standards.
The two kits made by Sao Thai Duong JSC are being sold widely in Europe and used in cases of emergency by the World Health Organization, Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper reported.
They were designed by two groups of scientists in Vietnam from the National Institute for Control of Vaccine and Biologicals and Hanoi University of Science and Technology and were successfully developed in January and February.
Over the past three months, Sao Thai Duong JSC has cooperated with the two groups to perfect the manufactured products and put them up for sale.
On May 7, the Ministry of Health issued certificates for the two kits. Besides this, they have also been issued certificates of European Standard.
