HCMC – Over 280 students from the Vietnam-Australia International School (VAS) have been awarded medals for their outstanding achievements in the Cambridge international benchmark exams organized by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).

Notably, four VAS students achieved the coveted “Top in Vietnam” scores, while an impressive 170 students received trophies for achieving “Perfect Scores in all subjects.” These accomplishments underscore the unwavering dedication and commitment to maintaining high educational standards at VAS.

The Cambridge Education Programme, offered by more than 10,000 schools in 160 countries worldwide, is among the most prestigious international education programs. It has been adopted alongside national education curricula by numerous countries, including Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, Indonesia, and India.

VAS was one of the pioneers in Vietnam to introduce the Cambridge program in the 2013-2014 academic year. Since then, the program has consistently grown in terms of student enrollment and educational quality.

Melvyn Lim, representative from CAIE, said, “I see that VAS has been successful in creating the foundation and nurturing the important skills that are typical of Cambridge curriculum students, including critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and innovation, and a willingness to explore and commit to learning.”

Nigel Cropley, Executive Cluster School director of the Sala campus of VAS, noted that local students have achieved remarkable results compared to their global peers, competing favorably with those in the countries like Australia and Zambia in various aspects.
