Vietnam to reopen all intl air routes from tomorrow

HCMC – Vietnam will reopen all regular international air routes as in the pre-pandemic period and will not limit the frequency of international flights from 0 a.m. tomorrow, February 15.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has asked the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation to issue a notice to airmen on the reopening of regular international air routes.

Accordingly, Vietnam will lift all restrictions on international flights, but passengers to Vietnam must comply with the prevailing regulations on immigration and medical control.

To date, many countries and territories, except China, have agreed to resume air routes to Vietnam, including Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.

Vietnam has also resumed flights to Europe, Australia and the United States.

Earlier, the prime minister had ordered the reopening of international air routes by March 30 at the latest.

The reopening of all international air routes will pave the way for a faster reopening of the international tourism segment, probably on March 31.
