HCMC – “The Flow” exhibition featuring 23 paintings by the young artist Iris Nguyen (Nguyen Le Bao Thu) is on at the World ArtSpace Gallery from October 21 to October 31.
Admission is free to the exhibition at the World ArtSpace Gallery, 21 Vo Truong Toan Street, Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City, HCMC. It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Spectators can discern an intense vitality akin to green sprouts growing on the surface of discord, debris, and agony through observing the artistic process of creator Iris Nguyen. it is the diverse range of experiences in different countries that shaped Iris’s introspective nature and enriched the emotional depth of her artistic creations.
The paintings at the exhibition were executed over the last three years. “There is an English idiom, ‘Go with the flow’, which I interpreted as following natural order. I never confine myself to any particular artistic aspect, allowing intuition to guide my work,” said Iris Nguyen.
Iris Nguyen was born in Phan Rang. She holds a Master’s Degree with honors in Design and Management from Coventry University in the UK.
