HCMC – Domestic fuel retail prices were cut by some 10% at 3 p.m. today, July 21, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
Bio-fuel E5 RON92 fell by VND2,710 per liter to VND25,070. The RON95-III gasoline now sells for VND26,070 per liter, down VND3,600.
Diesel oil now costs VND24,850 per liter, falling by VND1,740. Kerosene dropped by VND1,100 per liter at VND25,240.
The two ministries this time decided to impose a surcharge on all the fuels to replenish the national fuel price stabilization fund. The surcharge on the bio-gasoline, RON95-III, and heavy fuel oil is VND950 per liter each, the same as in the previous fuel price adjustment.
The extraction levels for each liter of diesel oil and kerosene sold to customers are VND550 and VND700, respectively.
In the price adjustment earlier on July 11, the prices of E5 RON92 and RON95-III declined by over VND3,000 per liter.
