HCMC – The government of Danang has allowed civil construction works in the central city to resume today, September 16, until further notice, barring those located in red zones which are at extremely high risk of Covid transmission.
The construction work operators can arrange a maximum number of people to work. If any of them are residents from other provinces, they have to follow the stay-at-work mode, reported Lao Dong newspaper.
People participating in the construction works and the production and supply of construction materials must be granted travel permits with a QR code.
The municipal Department of Construction is in charge of issuing travel permits for people and vehicles joining key, urgent construction works.
District-level authorities have to grant travel permits to people and vehicles participating in civil works and the production and supply of construction materials in their areas of operation.
As for those who transport construction materials in communes and wards, they will be given travel permits from grassroots authorities.
Travel permits with a QR code issued by the authorities will be valid citywide, excluding the red zones.
Besides this, the city’s Construction Department was asked to coordinate with district-level authorities and the relevant agencies to give detailed guidelines on the resumption of construction works to ensure compliance with Covid safety protocols.
Aside from construction works, a number of essential businesses such as take-away food services, electrical stores and water pump repair shops were allowed to reopen in Danang today, as part of the city’s plan to ease mobility restrictions.
