The northernmost province of Ha Giang is home to many amazing and beautiful sceneries. Tham Ma pass is for those who love adventure and driving through beautiful, snaking roads.
Tham Ma is a nine-curve winding pass located on National Highway 4C, linking Ha Giang City to Meo Vac District. Legend has it that the pass is named Thẩm Mã because it was used to test (thẩm) the power of a horse (mã). Accordingly, a horse that can carry goods with it from the foot to the top of the pass is a good one.
