HCMC – Deutsches Haus HCMC, a German-built smart office building in District 1, launched four electric vehicle (EV) charging stations today, September 26, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and green transportation solutions.
The four 22kW AC charging stations were installed in partnership with EV charging solutions provider EV ONE and German tech company Siemens. Siemens provided the VersiCharge Wallbox technology for the charging station.
“We are excited to partner with EV ONE and Siemens to provide our tenants and customers with modern and convenient e-car charging services,” said Elmar Dutt, general director of Deutsches Haus HCMC. The effort aims to promote green mobility not only at Deutsches Haus but also throughout the community in downtown HCMC, he added.
The charging stations include features such as smartphone connectivity, app-based scheduling, and safety measures including lightning protection and leak detection.
Deutsches Haus has already installed electric bike charging facilities. The building holds LEED Platinum and DGNB Gold certifications.
“The launch of the EV ONE public charging station at Deutsches Haus marks a milestone in our sustainable development strategy,” according to Huynh Tien Dat, managing director of EV ONE.
