HCMC – Visa has concluded its 2024 Financial Literacy Program, marking the latest milestone in a three-year partnership with the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) aimed at broadening financial service access nationwide.

In collaboration with the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs and NextPay Digital Transformation Corporation under NextTech Group, the program employed a practical learning model to enhance the economic capabilities of ethnic minority communities.

This year, the initiative expanded to Hoa Binh and Tuyen Quang provinces with significant ethnic minority populations. The program used a hybrid approach to provide training in financial management, e-commerce, and marketing.

Participants visited business sites for hands-on learning and received ongoing consultation on advanced topics such as artificial intelligence in e-commerce, cost optimization, and business performance.

Through a partnership with NextPay, they also gained access to digital payment solutions, including a tailored trial package for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), enabling them to apply their newfound knowledge.

Visa’s initiative underscores its commitment to improving financial literacy and fostering participation in Vietnam’s digital economy.
