Gasoline prices see first cut of 2025

HCMC – The ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance announced to cut retail gasoline prices today, January 23, the first decrease this year.

Effective from 3 p.m., RON 95-III gasoline fell by VND80 to VND21,220 per liter. E5 RON92 bio-gasoline dropped by VND160 to VND20,590.

But heavy fuel oil edged up by VND570 to VND17,750 per kilogram, diesel oil rose by VND410 to VND20,190 per liter, and kerosene climbed by VND404 to VND20,110 per liter.

During this fuel price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to impose a surcharge on fuels.

The price reduction came after three consecutive weekly increases and marked the final adjustment ahead of the nine-day Tet holiday.
