HCMC – The Phu My Hung Spring Fair, themed “Spring Melody,” officially began on January 23, the 24th day of the final lunar month, along Crescent Lake in District 7, HCMC.

The fair opens with the vibrant Nghinh Xuan Gate, glowing in red and yellow hues and adorned with hundreds of lucky red envelopes, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

At the heart of the fair is the Linh Xa Dai Phu display, featuring the striking 2025 snake mascot. This impressive creation is nearly six meters tall and 26 meters long, captivating attendees with its grandeur.

One of the key highlights is the North-Central-South Reunion display, which reimagines iconic cultural landmarks from Vietnam’s three regions, including models of Hanoi’s Turtle Tower, Hue’s Ngo Mon Gate, and HCMC’s Ben Thanh Market.

The Spring Melody area features bamboo arches adorned with wind chimes, lanterns, and colorful musical note symbols, creating a lively and cheerful ambiance to celebrate the arrival of spring.

This year, the spring fair also introduces an innovative AR (Augmented Reality) experience. Visitors can scan a QR code on posters to see a virtual snake mascot appear, offering lucky wishes and adding an interactive element to the festivities.

The Tet Flower Market is another highlight, running from the 23rd to the 29th of the lunar month (January 22–28, 2025). Featuring about 145 booths, the market showcases a wide variety of flowers and ornamental plants from HCMC and provinces, such as Ben Tre and Dong Thap, catering to residents of Phu My Hung and southern HCMC.

The Phu My Hung Spring Fair will remain open until the 4th day of the first lunar month, welcoming visitors for spring outings and Tet celebrations.
