HCMC – Truong Huy San is facing charges of abusing democratic freedoms by posting articles on Facebook that violate the interests of the State and the legitimate rights of organizations and individuals.
The Supreme People’s Procuracy has completed an indictment against San, who was born in 1961 and resides in Ward 14, District 3, HCMC, for “abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State and the lawful rights and interests of organizations and individuals” under Article 331, Clause 2 of the Penal Code.
The case file was transferred to the People’s Court of Hanoi for review and trial according to its jurisdiction.
According to the indictment, between 2015 and 2024, San collected information and documents, wrote, and posted multiple articles on his Facebook page, “Truong Huy San (Osin Huy Duc).”
Among these, 13 articles were found to contain content that infringed upon the interests of the State and the lawful rights and interests of organizations and individuals.
These articles received a high number of interactions, comments, and shares, negatively impacting public order and social safety, making it necessary to handle the case in accordance with the law.
