PVFCCo allowed to raise charter capital to VND6.8 trillion

HCMC – PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo, stock code DPM) has been allowed to increase its charter capital by 73% to VND6,800 billion through a bonus share issue from the development investment fund.

On January 8, 2025, the Members’ Council of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) issued Resolution No. 598/NQ-DKVN approving the plan to increase the charter capital of PVFCCo.

The capital increase aims to meet the funding needs for business operations, especially during the strategic development phase of the corporation until 2025.

According to the Q4/2024 financial report, PVFCCo recorded VND12,062 billion in net revenue last year, up by 4% against the previous year. Its net profit totaled VND574 billion, an uptick of 1%.

The profit growth was driven by higher sales volume and improved profit margins, which increased from 12% to 13%.

In 2025, PVFCCo plans to achieve revenue of VND12,876 billion and net profit of VND320 billion.

Closing the trading session today, February 13, DPM climbed by 4.74% day-on-day to VND36,450, with over 9.2 million shares changing hands.

On the southern bourse, the VN-Index added 3.44 points, or 0.27%, against the previous session, at 1,270.35 points, with 210 winners and 229 losers.

More than 512 million shares worth VND11.7 trillion were transacted on bourse, a slight increase compared to yesterday’s session. Block deal transactions contributed nearly VND900 billion to the overall value.

Among the blue-chip stocks, only three stocks stood out: VHM and GVR, which extended their gains, closing up over 2% at VND38,700 and VND29,450, respectively.

On the other hand, MWG dropped by 2.8% to VND54,800. The remaining stocks saw only minor price fluctuations.

On the northern exchange, the HNX-Index inched up by 0.2 point, or 0.09%, versus the previous session, closing at 229.52 points, with 73 advancers and 87 decliners. The total trading volume amounted to nearly 40 million shares worth a total of VND642.4 billion.
