HCMC – Recruitment platform Viec Lam Tot and the University of Management and Technology HCMC (UMT) have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen practical training for students in logistics and technology.

The agreement focuses on integrating academic learning with industry practice as Vietnam moves toward digital transformation in logistics.

Under the deal, UMT students will gain access to internships at technology-driven logistics firms and join research projects applying artificial intelligence. The program also connects students with leading employers through job-matching tools and career support services.

Both sides said they will develop a sustainable career ecosystem by sharing recruitment information, co-hosting seminars and online discussions, and promoting direct links between companies and students.

Logistics 4.0, which combines technologies such as the Internet of Things, AI, big data and cyber-physical systems, is forecast to reach a global market value of US$5.75 billion by 2025.

UMT has set logistics and technology as key training areas to meet workforce demand. Viec Lam Tot, a subsidiary of Cho Tot, said the partnership aims to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers as companies adopt digital solutions.
