Public tender for US-origin soybeans
Two USA-based organizations, IESC (Improving Economies for Stronger Communities) and LWR (Lutheran World Relief) – are soliciting bids for Soybeans to be purchased and imported into One or More of the Following Countries: Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan.
- Commodities: 88,000 MT +/-10% US-origin whole yellow soybeans – U.S. Grade No. 2 or better. The commodities are offered under USDA “Food For Progress” program monetization sales.
- Delivery Terms: CFR Free Out to buyer’s selected ocean port(s); in two or more shipments
- Shipping Period: April 2026. Buyer may propose alternate date, not before April 2026.
- Price/MT: Commodities sold in U.S. dollars via submission of competitive bids. USDA rules apply.

- Deadline: Bids must be submitted according to instructions for bidding – by 17:00 hours Chicago time on Friday, January 30, 2026. Bidders will be notified within 72 hours about bid results. Should bid prices offered fail to meet minimum requirements, the tender will be canceled.
