The cross-border e-commerce carnival series event 2021 entitled “Cross Board & Launch Out” organized by the Deqing Municipal Bureau of Commerce (Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, China) was successfully held on December 6-16.
The event attracted the participation of over 60 selected Deqing enterprises and foreign companies, including many firms from Vietnam, Indonesia, and Russian among others.
Not only professional purchaser representatives from Belt and Road and RCEP countries, but also outstanding overseas cross-border e-commerce platform representatives were invited to the venue to have negotiations and communication with foreign companies in Deqing via Zoom.
Over 60 overseas companies joining the event came from hardware and building material, machinery and electronics, fast-moving consumer goods and pet product industries.
While presenting corporate profiles and products, selected Deqing enterprises have actively exchanged with foreign companies to know their purchasing demands.
Vietnam has the participation of representatives of three large e-commerce platforms including Shopee, Lazada, and Tiki.vn. The Zoom meeting provided an overview of the e-commerce market in Vietnam, updated the latest information on Vietnam and the world’s e-commerce.
Besides, this event also highlighted the consumer’s trend in the coming time; and shared and offered solutions for businesses to cope with the consequences caused by Covid19. In addition to Vietnam, overseas cross-border e-commerce platforms from Indonesia, Malaysia and Russia such as Blibli Toko Online Nya Indonesia, TT Live Mall, What’s Next and Ozon Global also attended the event as well.
These locally well-known platforms operate in multiple overseas markets including ASEAN, Europe and the Americas. The platform representatives not only shared the detailed achievements and platform advantages, but also their one-stop services and incentives for online companies. In the Q&A section, they answered the questions raised by interested companies.
The matchmaking meeting has not only laid a solid foundation for friendly cooperation and win-win results between the two trading parties of Vietnam and China, but also accelerated the development of digital platforms, empowering the growth of Deqing’s cross-border e-commerce and helping Deqing’s companies go global.
