Hoang Anh Phuong, communication representative of MEDI Thien Son, a wellness resort in Hanoi’s outlying district of Ba Vi, says healing tourism has been launched recently. It is the combination of recreation tourism and healthcare services such as meditation, yoga, traditional medicine checkup and treatment, and macrobiotics, which help improve tourists’ physical and mental health. As one of the first resorts of this kind in northern Vietnam, MEDI Thien Son covers 450 hectares with pine forests, streams, lakes, waterfalls, natural vegetation and medicinal herbs, offering health and wellness tours that are favorite on the weekend.
