Ba Ria-Vung Tau greenlights VND8-trillion budget for HCMC Beltway 4

HCMC –  The southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau has approved a nearly-VND8-trillion investment plan for the HCMC Beltway No. 4 project.

According to the Vietnam News Agency, the provincial government has approved the Department of Transport’s proposal to choose an investment option for the section of the beltway that passes through Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Under this plan, the State will cover all costs related to land compensation, site clearance, and part of the construction cost for the project.

Of the investment cost of almost VND8 trillion, 49.74% (VND3.965 trillion) would come  from the State budget and 50.26% (VND4.007 trillion) from investors.

The HCMC Beltway No. 4 is nearly 207 kilometers long, with18.23 kilometers of it to be built in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. The road will begin at the Toc Tien-Chau Pha intersection in Phu My town and end in Chau Duc District, which borders neighboring Dong Nai Province.
