HCMC – Bac Giang Province today, October 4, allowed operators of tourist attractions, cultural and historical relics and the Yen Dung Resort and Golf Club in the province to receive tourists who come from provinces listed as safe from Covid-19 via a Covid map available on the provincial health authority’s portal, as part of the province’s reopening plan.
The latest Covid outbreak in this northern province has been brought under control, without any new domestic cases reported over the past 30 days, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Tourists from Covid-safe areas will be welcomed to Bac Giang provided they are fully vaccinated, with the second dose taken at least 14 days earlier and no more than 12 months before their arrival in the province. They must also produce proof of a negative rapid or PCR test result taken in the last 72 hours.
Tourist sites that are operational must comply with anti-Covid measures, offer QR codes and ask all visitors to scan the codes to make health declarations. Individuals participating in the operations at these facilities must strictly follow anti-virus measures.
Earlier, Bac Giang had allowed sports activities, businesses and eateries to reopen, in addition to foreign language centers, spas and massage parlors.
