HCMC – Gasoline prices remain unchanged while diesel oil and kerosene prices are up, according to an announcement jointly released today by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
The widely used RON 95-III gasoline and the E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline are unchanged at VND24,870 and VND23,470 per liter, respectively, while heavy fuel oil is priced at VND17,700 per kilogram.
Meanwhile, diesel oil now costs VND23,050 per liter, up by VND410 and the kerosene price is VND23,180 per liter, up by VND370.
This time, no surcharge is imposed on fuels and local fuel retailers are not allowed to tap the fuel price stabilization fund.
Statistics from the Ministry of Finance showed that the fuel price stabilization fund had had a surplus of VND7.4 trillion as of July.
