HCMC – The Central Inspection Commission has recommended disciplinary measures against several provincial leaders, including Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, former secretary of the Party Committee of Vinh Phuc, and multiple officials of Quang Ngai Province.

During its 38th session on March 18, the Inspection Commission of the Party Central Committee reviewed requests for disciplining certain Party members and officials from the two provinces over their misconduct.

The individuals under scrutiny include Hoang Thi Thuy Lan, former Party secretary of Vinh Phuc; Le Duy Thanh, chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee; Dang Van Minh, chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee; Cao Khoa, former chairman of Quang Ngai; and Ha Hoang Viet Phuong, head of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks in Quang Ngai Province.

The commission’s inspection found that these individuals displayed ideological and ethical degradation, and violated State laws and Party rules. Their actions led to severe consequences and public disgrace, tarnishing the Party’s reputation.

Therefore, the Inspection Commission recommended that the Party Central Committee review and discipline them.

Recently, police detained Lan, Thanh, Minh, and Khoa on alleged charges of bribery in the Phuc Son Group JSC case. Phuong is also under investigation for violations related to bidding regulations.

The Ministry of Public Security is conducting an investigation into violations at Phuc Son Group JSC. So far, 15 individuals have been arrested, including party secretaries, provincial leaders, and other officials.
